Daily Tasks

Overview
This guide covers the common tasks you'll perform daily when using LC DocCheck.
Task 1: Review New LCs
When a new Letter of Credit arrives:

Create Sales Order
- Click New Sales Order
- Enter the order reference number
- Save

Upload LC Document
- Click Upload LC
- Select the PDF file
- Wait for extraction to complete

Verify Extraction
- Review extracted fields
- Check key terms:
- LC Amount and Currency
- Expiry Date
- Latest Shipment Date
- Document Requirements
Task 2: Upload Shipping Documents
For each shipment:

Navigate to Shipment
- From the Sales Order, click Add Shipment or select existing

Upload Required Documents
- Bill of Lading
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin (if required)
- Insurance Certificate (if required)

Check Extraction Status
- Green checkmark = Successfully extracted
- Yellow warning = Review needed
- Red cross = Extraction failed
Task 3: Run Compliance Checks

From Sales Order View
- Click Run Compliance Check
- Select which shipment to check

Review Results
- Overall status badge shows pass/fail
- Expand categories to see individual rules
- Click on discrepancies for details

Address Discrepancies
- Review the specific issue
- Check source documents
- Update if correction needed
- Mark as reviewed if acceptable
Task 4: Generate Reports

Comparison Report
- From any completed comparison
- Click Export Report
- Choose format (PDF/Excel)

Status Summary
- Dashboard shows overall statistics
- Filter by date range
- Export for management reporting
Task 5: End of Day Checklist
- All new LCs uploaded and extracted
- Pending shipment documents uploaded
- Critical discrepancies addressed
- Reports generated as needed
